Are you to busy to Reply to Everyone?

Are you taking full advantage of your social media tools?  If your followers are taking the time to send you a request, turn this request into an opportunity for you and your business.  Make sure you reply to everyone.

Most of us are pretty good about answering the email in our inbox.  If you’re not, you better fix this.  Customers who send emails, want a response, if you don’t reply they’ll take their business elsewhere.  In addition to email, you should actively be replying to all of your user and potential customers:

Twitter – Reply to all tweets that mention you or your business.  If there are mentioning one of your posts or websites, reply to those to.  Even if people are just retweeting what you said, others are following those tweets and it could end up as new traffic for you business website.

Twitter – Reply to tweets from people who have read your blog or visited your website.  They may not mention you, but your reply most certainly can.

Your Blog – If you have a blog and have comments turned on, make sure you blog host sends an email to you when there’s a new comment placed against one of your posts.  Reply to all the comments you receive on your blog, remember they took the time to respond to your thoughts make sure you do the same.

Site and Blog Readers – Reach out to the readers of your blog, send them emails and thank them for their support and ideas.  Try to reply to everyone.

Facebook – Has someone written on your wall?  Post a reply or comment on their wall.

Your Blog Commenters – How about visiting the blogs of those who put comments on your site.  Put your own comments on their site and give some reciprocal blog love.
