Automatic Blog Posts in Facebook and Twitter
Here’s a quick tip for replicating content from your blog to facebook and twitter. Leverage your time with replicated content on all your social websites and drive new customers to your business.
If you don’t intend to write new content on a regular basis just skip this post and move on unless you want to take advantage of Automatic Blog Posts in Facebook and Twitter.
If you use a blog for your website or intent to write one to share content with your customers and leads, you can quickly and easily show this same content on your facebook and twitter pages.
Within facebook navigate to your business facebook page which allows you to add or edit pages and select the Notes page to edit. Again you need to be in the page edit menu and not just your notes page. On your facebook notes page, navigate to the link which allows you to import an external blog feed. Enter the required information for where facebook can find the rss feed to your blog posts. This is normally just your website url.
Like magic, your posts from your blog now become notes and updates to your wall for all your fans to see.
Ok, now the next step, facebook to twitter.
Again, within facebook, simply navigate to http://www.facebook.com/twitter/ and follow the instructions. Facebook will show your current business pages and ask you which one you would like linked to your twitter account. Enter your twitter ID and password and your facebook notes updates now become new tweets in twitter.
